Movyra Publisher

One video. Every platform. One click.

Movyra Publisher is a browser extension that works with Movyra for Mac. It opens every platform you choose at once, uploads your video and writes each post in its own words. You check them and press Post yourself.

Install Movyra for Mac

The Mac app makes the video and keeps it on your computer. The extension only ever talks to it.

  1. Download Movyra for Mac and drag it into Applications.
  2. Open it once so macOS finishes setting it up.
  3. Publishing from the browser needs macOS and a Chromium browser: Chrome, Dia, Brave, Arc, Edge, Vivaldi or Opera.

Download the extension

The extension comes as a small folder that your browser loads directly.

  1. Download movyra-publisher-extension.zip from this page.
  2. Double-click it to unzip. Put the “Movyra Publisher” folder somewhere it can stay, for example Documents.
  3. Keep that folder in place: the browser loads the extension from it.

Add it to your browser

Load the folder once from the browser’s extensions page.

  1. Open chrome://extensions (brave://extensions in Brave, edge://extensions in Edge).
  2. Turn on Developer mode, at the top of the page.
  3. Click Load unpacked and choose the Movyra Publisher folder.
  4. Pin Movyra Publisher from the puzzle-piece menu so it is one click away.

Connect the browser to Movyra

One click in Movyra links the two. No account, no password.

  1. In Movyra open Settings → Publisher.
  2. Choose your browser and press Connect browser.
  3. The extension connects on its own and shows Connected to Movyra. If it asks, type the six-digit code Movyra shows.
  4. Sign in to your social accounts in this same browser. Movyra never asks for your passwords.

Prepare the post in Movyra

Movyra writes a post for each platform, in the video’s language and each platform’s style.

  1. Export the final video.
  2. Open Publisher: the title, caption and hashtags for each platform are ready.
  3. Read them, change anything you like, and save.

Choose where to publish

The finished video waits in the extension’s Ready tab.

  1. Open the extension from the toolbar.
  2. Tick the platforms you want and untick the rest. Your choice is remembered for next time.
  3. Press Publish selected.

Watch it fill everything in

Every platform opens in its own tab at the same time.

  1. Movyra hands the video over on your computer and uploads it to each platform.
  2. It fills in the title, text, hashtags and the platform’s own steps.
  3. A notification shows each platform’s progress: uploading, ready, needs attention.
  4. If a site asks you to sign in, sign in in that tab and Movyra carries on.

Review and press Post

You stay in control: nothing goes live until you press the platform’s own button.

  1. A chime plays when every platform is ready for you.
  2. Check each tab, then press Post, Share or Publish on the platform.
  3. Movyra saves each post’s link: on its own for YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Pinterest; for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok you paste the link into the extension.
