Movyra + your AI

Ask your AI. Movyra makes the video.

Movyra has an MCP connection built in. Turn it on, connect Claude Code, Codex or any AI app that speaks MCP, and ask for a video in your own words. The AI writes the script, picks the style, voice and format from what Movyra offers, makes the video and changes it until you are happy. Every job appears in Movyra, and everything stays on your computer.

Turn it on in Movyra

The connection is off until you allow it.

  1. Open Movyra on your computer (Windows, Mac or Linux).
  2. Go to Settings → AI apps.
  3. Switch on “Allow AI apps to use Movyra”. The page shows the address the AI app connects to.

Connect your AI app, once

Copy the command for your app from the same page, or from here, and run it in a terminal.

  1. Claude Code and Codex: run the command below once. They remember Movyra from then on.
  2. Any other app with MCP: add a server of type Streamable HTTP with the address shown in Movyra.
  3. Keep Movyra open while the AI works: the AI talks to the running app.

Ask for what you want

Say it the way you would say it to a person. The AI reads Movyra’s own guide first, asks what is missing, then gets to work.

  1. It suggests styles, palettes, voices and formats from the ones your copy of Movyra actually has.
  2. You watch every job in Studio activity, with its progress.
  3. When it is done, the AI gives you the file, and the project opens in Movyra like any other.

What the AI can do in Movyra

Everything the app’s screens let you do, with the same choices and the same limits.

  • Motion graphics videos

    Every Create setting: idea or a scene-by-scene script, length, format, language, style, palette or your own colours, voice, captions, logo, screenshots, photos, clips and saved characters.

  • Lessons, text films and products

    A lesson from a topic and its points, a text-motion film from a message and a tone, a product video from its details, even read from its store page.

  • Line Stories

    Plan a story from an idea, a script or a surprise, with every look setting; read and edit the storyboard, scene by scene; then record and render it.

  • AI Generate and Logo Intro

    Free-form videos from the local AI model, from a template or not, and logo intros with every scenario and setting.

  • Enhance your own videos

    Captions and motion graphics over a video you recorded: cut pauses, fix the transcript, change any graphic, preview and export.

  • Edit and export

    Change a scene’s words, narration, voice, length, transition, pictures or characters; reorder scenes; make a variation; export as MP4 or MOV from 720p to 4K.

  • Characters, voices and research

    Create and approve characters from pictures, preview voices, gather checked facts for a lesson, and bring in a website’s brand.

  • Posts for every platform

    Write, rewrite and edit the titles, captions and hashtags for a finished video. Posting stays with you.

You stay in control

  • The connection is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any moment.
  • It only listens on your own computer. Web pages and other devices cannot reach it.
  • Nothing is uploaded. The AI works with files already on your computer.
  • Every job appears in Studio activity, and you can stop it there.
  • Deleting anything needs an explicit confirmation, and the AI can never publish a post for you.

Questions

Which AI apps work with Movyra?

Any app that supports MCP over Streamable HTTP. Claude Code and Codex connect with one command; for other apps, add the address shown in Settings → AI apps.

Does the AI see my files or my projects?

Only what it asks Movyra for while you have the connection on: your projects, their scenes and the files you point it to. Movyra itself sends nothing anywhere.

The AI says it cannot reach Movyra.

Check that Movyra is open and that “Allow AI apps to use Movyra” is on. If Settings says it could not start, another program is using the same port: close it and switch the connection off and on.

Do videos made by the AI have a watermark?

They are made by your copy of Movyra, exactly like the ones you make yourself, so they follow your plan: free or Pro.

Can I change what the AI made?

Yes. Every project it makes opens in Movyra’s editor like any other, and you can also ask the AI for changes.
